Right Care Right Place - A&E or NHS 24

Posted on

NHS Highland is asking for help from the public to reduce pressure on critical services as part of their remobilisation plan.

To make sure that patients have the most appropriate access to the treatment they need, anyone with a non-life-threatening condition who may usually go to A&E is encouraged to call NHS 24 by dialling 111 first.

NHS 24 services are available at any time, day or night and will provide people with the best advice to care for their injury or symptoms and will direct them to the right NHS service when needed.

Local Accident & Emergency departments across Highland, Argyll and Bute remain open for those who have a life-threatening emergency.
