Chatty Cafe Scheme offer three services, all designed to reduce loneliness and/or social isolation. They include;
- Face to face meet ups where venues offer ‘Chatter & Natter’ tables, where customers can get together and chat. We have hundreds of venues around the UK, many Chatter & Natter tables are hosted by Chatty Table Volunteers.
- Online Chatty Cafe Sessions held every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 1pm – 1:30pm. Anyone over 18 can join, simply to chat to others.
The mission of the Highland Third Sector Interface is to ensure that the Third Sector in Highlands is strong, developing and a valued community and regional asset. They co-ordinate the regional work, specifically strategic involvement with the public and private sectors, while supporting the locally delivered work of their Partners.
Befriending Networks is an umbrella organisation for Befriending groups in Scotland and other parts of the UK. They offer advice, information, training and a Quality in Befriending Award Scheme.
VGS exists to support the voluntary sector in Sutherland by representing and supporting voluntary groups and individuals interested in or actively volunteering, facilitating co-operation, and enabling citizens to access the decision making processes affecting their community.

Ask them to get in touch or if you are a family member or a carer, refer them to us. We will undertake a Home Fire Safety Visit where possible. Make the Call 0800 0731 999, it could save a life.
Energy Saving Trust can help with making your home more efficient, cheaper to heat and warmer by providing information, grants, or interest free loans.
The elderly and disabled often need special measures to manage the risks associated with living alone. Telecare Alarms can assist people to remain safe in the comfort of their own home by providing somebody to call for help if they suffer a fall, feel unwell or need some reassurance 24-hour a day.

Playlist for Life is a music and dementia charity. Playlist for Life harnesses the powerful effects of personal music to help anyone who is affected by dementia, their families and carers. Music has the ability to take us back in time and remind us of our past, giving you that flashback feeling. Sharing your songs and memories can help people living with dementia connect with family, friends and carers
Launchpad is a registered charity offering small grants (approx. £250) to unemployed people, aged 18 and over, living within the Inverness area.
Partnerships For Wellbeing Community Transport provides reliable, door to door, non-emergency transport to anyone in Inverness who finds it difficult to access community health and social care facilities.
