HUG is a network of people living in the Scottish Highlands who have experience of mental ill health. Their main aim is to improve the way in which users of mental health services are treated; by campaigning to improve the rights, services and treatment of people with mental health problems, and to challenge stigma and discrimination.
Working to improve the wellbeing and quality of life of those affected by mental ill health, including families and carers.
Were here to provide help, information and support; to campaign on behalf of people with mental health problems and to raise money to fund our vital work.

Rethink Mental Illness provides an advice and information service that offers practical help on a wide range of topics such as The Mental Health Act, community care, welfare benefits, and carers rights. They also offer general information on living with mental illness, medication and care.
