Fundraising

Ways you can get involved

Fundraising and donations are essential for our charity’s survival. A donation, no matter how small, can make a huge difference.

We have dedicated supporters who are trying a range of fundraising projects to allow us to deliver a free service for those who need support at this time in their lives.

Fundraising  projects include charity walks and runs, carol singing, afternoon teas, raffles, and sale stalls.

You can get involved in a number of ways – perhaps you want to do a 10k for the charity, or perhaps you want to ask for donations in lieu of wedding or birthday presents.

There is also the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (an active citizenship programme that empowers #generationchange to make a difference in their local communities). Befrienders Highland could be your nominated charity for this initiative.

Whatever you decide, know that you will be making a huge difference in people’s lives, and we appreciate everything you do.

Please contact Margaret at margaretgrant@befriendershighland.org.uk if you would like to get involved and make a real difference to local life.

All funds raised will directly support someone living in the Highlands.
