Welcome to Befrienders Highland

We are a small voluntary organisation working to improve the lives of people who are experiencing mental ill health; memory loss or dementia and carers . We work with adults (aged 18 and over) who are lonely and isolated, and live within the Highland Region of Scotland.

Our Mental Health service offers befriending using the REFOCUS recovery method which supports personally-defined recovery.

Unfortunately, most of our services have reached full capacity, which means we are unable to accept any applications or referrals for anywhere other than Sutherland. For all other areas, please check back here again in September.
